Edit Whatever happened to ....

Have you ever thought, whatever happened to .... and then never did anything else about it.
Well now is your chance to change all that.
This is an opportunity for you to find old friends, neighbours, team mates; ask questions about buildings which have been demolished, try to locate old streets; chat about the "old days", reminisce about your childhood.
Well I hope that from now on you will do all that here, in the local information section of your community website.
All you need do is create a new page, post your queryand wait for your fellow users to respond.
So good hunting and remember, if you don't know the answer someone out there will.

Hello from Canada,

I would dearly love to know if 66 Govanhill St still exsists.

It was close to Govanhill park.

My Laidlaw family lived there in the early 1900's and also ran a bakery from Smith/Inglefield St nearby.

Sincerely, Ruth Thomson (nee Laidlaw)
